Our story
Ari is a 3 year old mini long haired dachshund and came into my life in May 2019 where she has been my best friend ever since. I've always been obsessed with dogs and have worked with them for the past 8 years.
Back in 2020 I was made furloughed from my doggy day care job. Times were tough, but I wanted to do something with my time, and that’s where Ari’s originals came alive. Working with dogs I wanted to help crack boredom by making enrichment toys during the uncertain times.
Even though we are all trying to get back to normal our pets still need to be stimulated and not just by walks, but mentally too.

The idea of making toys for your pets, came about due to wanting to do more with Ari. She’s such a clever dog, I had to think out side the box of just snuffle mats.
Everything is handmade by me and with the help of family, friends and brand reps spreading the love we are forever growing and producing new toys! I make snuffle mats, snuffle balls, fleece frisbees and tug toys with a twist. All tried and tested by Ari herself.
Our life has recently changed for the better. New year, new location and new life, i’m super excited to see what this year holds for me and Ari as we are wanting to go bigger and better than ever before, this is just the beginning with launching a website.
The adventures continues…
March 2022 I expanded our little family and welcomed Arlo to the mix. Arlo is also a mini long haired dachshund and is actually Ari’s nephew. Now at 9 months old he’s double the size of Ari, being an absolute lunatic who has really has brought the puppy back out of Ari. They are a match made in heaven and both dogs are always by my side making my world full.
I’d never thought I would be in a position in life to come away from working in doggy day care to take Ari’s originals to the next stage, becoming my own boss and building up a dog walking business along side the handmade enrichment making.
We can’t wait to get started making new dreams a reality, meeting new friends along the way. I’m a stong believer in everything happens for a reason, so live life they way you want to live it!
Things keep getter better…
October 2022 I was lucky enough to be able to purchase a dog walking van already kitted out, ready to go with crates to transport dogs. Fast forward 6 months and it now has me and the dogs all over it! It sure has got us noticed as we continue to grow. I’m always so grateful with how the business continues to thrive, being able to attend fates meeting so many lovely people and dogs its such a lovely community to be part of.
